2102 Ultra running solo in Street Glide mode with all intentions of keeping it this way. Decided to upgrade the fairing audio, plan to stay with the stock HU and on the advice of the forum chose the Cerwin Vega B52, the 6.5" Infinity Kappas and the SNI 35 line converter. On previous FLH's I have installed the Arc audio two channel amp and speakers - a very simple job. Was surprised to find the the previous owner had added the Boom amplifier. So what was to be an easy project apparently got a lot more complicated due to the mass of wiring associated with the Boom amp.
Basically I'm stumped at where to begin. I know that the Boom amp needs to go away. Is it as simple as just unplugging added wiring harnesses to get back to just the HK head unit? Has all of the original stock HU wiring been removed in the Boom install? Is the answer just to unplug everything going to the Boom amp and see what's left? Will I need to purchase a stock wiring harness or harnesses?
Hoping someone here has experience with this and can get me back on track. Thanks!
