Installed some Hogtunes 2ohm speakers a couple of months ago.
While riding last week, at a stop light, heard what sounded like feedback from the stereo and then nothing from the right side.
Ordered some Kappa's and pulled the fairing cap off, pulled the right speaker after no love checking connections. Plugged it in left side and it works.
Have just over 5v (on low volume) across both sides at speaker wires.

I'll look into that one too. Thanks for the suggestion.
Any opinion on the HK problem?
Cooked? Checked and cleaned all connections, shut power down, even removed the maxi fuse.
. Nada
From my research it looks like the early years (maybe all years) are junk.
It's is 9 yrs old so I guess I'll have to HD it.. (another 3 hunnert dollars)

Was able to listen to the Kenwood today.
Sounds pretty good. Bike had speaker pods in the lids and a Soundstream 1000? Watt 4ch. Amp.
Sounded pretty good.
I doubt I'll ever do the rear pods tho.
