Question for the group. 2016 Ultra Limited. Looking at installing a RFTM400X4ad along with 4 TMS65 speakers. A little confused about the different options to correct the signal from the HU. RF recommends flashing it. A local shop tells me that they do not flash and instead install some type of LL (BT335 HD?). And yet other people I have seen on the forum install JL Audio FiX, TWK or Arc PSMs. Which route is the best? Pros and cons of each? Sorry if someone has explained this and if there is a thread that covers these I can't find it.

The desired flash to help flatten the eq is no longer available. In my opinion the easiest And cheapest fix is the BT355s, the JL Fix 86 is better and harder to install, and the best (for sound) is the PSM and is even harder when it comes to tuning if you don't know what you're doing.
Now with 1 amp 4 speaker setup you're looking at I'd go with the BT355 or Fix 86.
I have a 2015 Limited. I have 3 amps and 6 speakers. Each amp powers a set of two speakers... one powers the fairing speakers and is located on top of the HU, one powers the rear tour pack pod speakers and is located inside the tour pack and one powers 6x9 speakers in the saddlebag lids and is located in the right saddlebag. I use a Fix 86 to flatten and EQ the signal from the HU and then the signal goes out to all three amps. FYI... The only place the Fix 86 will fit is in the tour pack unless you're into cutting metal under the front fairing. I recently added a Clarion stand-alone EQ between the Fix86 out and the lid speaker amp in since the Fix 86 can only EQ 4 channels (needed to EQ 6 channels). The Clarion EQ was a cheap way to do this. The best way would be to add the JL Twk88 processor but my wallet won't allow it... yet. For your 4 speaker set-up the Fix86 would be perfect but be prepared to do some serious wiring!
You "CAN" get a flash that works, the problem is finding a shop that can do it correctly. Dealers flashes won't work anymore you need an aftermarket shop that KNOWS HOW TO FLASH in order to make it work CORRECTLY.
My advice, if you're sticking with the setup you listed and never doing anything else is to just go buy a pair of BT355's (you only really need 1 if can deal with NOT having the fader option).
If you'll be building on the system, get an Arc PSM (unless you want to put a JL FiX in the TourPak or bags).
