It seems all small footprint Class D amplifiers affect FM reception. I went from great FM reception with a powered hidden antenna to little reception when I installed a CV B52 I my fairing, but since I stream all my music from my phone I'm good with it.
i'm curious too as i dont want to run into this!

Damn near no way around it with Class D amps other than a couple exceptions.
Due to the harsh audio environmental factors associated with sled audio u want the absolute best quality sound moving out of your head unit cause ever damn inch that sound travels its getting kidney punched by wind, exhaust noise, etc.... FM sucks to begin with so u won't find too many folks that dive into the sled audio deep end using FM as their audio source. iPhone, iPod, Android, Pandora, Sirius etc is the way to go.
I know it sounds crazy, but once u transition to a good quality audio source platform u will never look back.
