I am looking to do front upgrade as well as add lids and lowers to my 17 RGS. I only have the money right now to do the front and do lowers or lids. My question is which is the better bang for the buck as far as sound that I am able to hear while riding. Either way I go I am going to ride down to Miami and have Alex do it.
Can't go wrong with Alex. I dd the fronts on my RGS already and am now adding lids. I was looking for that back filler that I feel is missing now that I don't have my Ultra.
I'd do lids. We can likely get your fairing to be so damn loud you wouldn't hear the lowers anyways. So I'd do lids and fill out the sound with some lower freqs.
Thanks Alex. I PM'd you back yesterday about getting some ideas for the system. Planning on running the hog tunes lids or bad dad's. Like the look of bad dad's better obviously.

All depends what else is on the bike. Let's take an 8.8 for example...it has the most bass of the other options, but likely the worse option if you have a 10 in the bag, and not as good of sound quality or as loud as a pro audio 8 and horn. Stand alone it's probably the best option, but you only have one option of lids and it looks tacky without stretched bags.
Sooooooo....all depends what else you have going on.
