Mine were on the psm and now just off the caps themselves. On the psm was nice to tailor them for better control but tjey sound fine off the caps alone. I am not a big fan of stacking crossovers personally.

Mak...DD design makes a X-over they designed for use with their VO series, it is the CC2 (on their website under archives), designed for high power applications with 5 levels of tweeter attenuation of -0 -3 -6 -9 -12...thinking of using this in my rear stage if I add a horn (B3) to go with the VO 6x9 in my lids!

Thanks for the input. It seems the Mmats and b3s are the way to go. I'm worried that if I do go and throw 8s in the lid it will drown the MMATS out. The twisted 8 lid is better of the 2, that voodoo lid is horrendous. I've been seriously considering getting a knock off twisted 8 and modifying it to my liking, I don't see a point of having the bullet behind me.

7.7 is basically a glorified 6.5" speaker. The only speaker that will fit in those is the 7.7 as well.
