Hi! I have a 2012 FLTRX. I have already replaced the head unit with the Aquatic AV unit and the sound is improved but not great - still running OEM speakers with no amp.
I have been reading the forums and browsing the web but I can't quite make up my mind on what to buy yet as far as speakers and amp.
I am looking to get the best bang for my buck (no pun intended), I don't have a ton to spend.
I was looking at the Infinity Kappa 62.11I speakers ($105) and the Cerwin Vega b52 amp ($136) to push them.
Is this the best I can get in this price range? Would the RF PBR300X2 be a better amp? Are there some noticeably better speakers for $160 or less?
Would the options open up more if I stretched the budget to $400 for amp and speakers? Or would that take a bigger jump on the budget?
I agree with Haze. Jump in the CV amp and infinity Kappa's. The next leap from that point is gonna be $600-700 bucks. That will get you close to a 4 channel sound digital amp and a set of AD designs speakers. Excellent sound!!
