Have a 2017 Limited CVO. Over the last month or so the sound quality is very poor for about 10-15 minutes. I use the USB most of the time be the issue is in the FM and XM radio. After 10-15 minutes the quality improves to excellent. This happens when I first start the bike in the morning. Any one else experience this issue or have any idea what is causing this. I have an appointment later this week at the dealer, but they have no idea what is causing this.

 

I posted this last October looking for help with a strange radio issue. Well I thought I would pass this on just in case anyone is have a similar issue. After almost a year and 3 visits to the dealer, it's fixed. Somehow my radio was set up as a Boom II application rather than Boom I. A Harley Rep happened to be at the dealership while my bike was being worked on. The Rep had seen this before. Had them reset the radio to factory settings and PROBLEM solved. The sound now is better than ever. Hope this can possibly help someone else.
