So there seems to be some BS going on regarding Haze and BAL.
For those of you who didn't see his post earlier, I have posted it below.


There's a chance he will no longer be on this forum. This would be a significant loss for this site and it's members. Haze/BAL have been nothing more than helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Unlike other sponsors on this site ,,,,,,,,,,,. He truly loves bike audio and helping others out. He's not pushing his shop or products down anyone's throats.


Lets let the forum moderators know who much we appreciate Haze and all of his help!



"My Haze324 account was banned since i am currently a sponsor and I’m told by admin after my sponsorship expires this month this account will be locked. Appearantly I can not go back to a regular account and offer advice since it may indirectly promote my shop. So looks like i will be leaving the forum permanently at the end of this month. Pretty crappy, been here since 2008!"

 

Agree, he is so very helpful to all and provides such knowledgeable advice. I've never seen him push anyone to buy from his shop. Losing him as a regular "Bike Audio Advocate" would be a real detriment to this forum! M2C

 

He has an enormous amount knowledge he brings to the table. Losing him would definitely hurt this forum. There is also the domino effect that would probably also happen by others following him if he not allowed back. I hope they don't ban him.

 

Mods please take notice of this and do not let it happen! It is unfair and if you view his post history in an unbiased fashion, i think that you will see how valuable an addition he is here and that his ability to conduct his business in the appropriate fashion is obvious.
PLEASE, DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN!

Ok, I understand your concerns, and sympathize with them. I like him too. But this situation is being handled by people well above the mod's paygrade. We are powerless. I will alert them to this thread. There is ongoing discussion at the higher levels and hopefully it will all be resolved in his favor.

Izzo, we know this is not you per say, but you do have access to people that control this whereas we do not.

Hopefully they understand all the traffic (Advertising Sales for IB) that this wonderful section of the forum has generated for their paying ad customers. For Example: Google search Harley Audio Recommendation and see where it leads you. This Forum is close to cutting off the hands that lead traffic here.

This forum seems to be administered very poorly compared to several others that I am active in. Again, not a shot at you directly Izzo.

Agree with all that was said above. If it weren't for Haze the audio on my bike, as it is now, would not exist!

If he's not allowed to stay you can rest assured that this audio thread will lose a LOT of valuable regulars, myself included.

Please let me know which forum y'all end up on so I can follow!

 

Hey guys thanks for the kind words. I sent a note to folks at IB and will let them sort it out. I'd rather not turn this into a us vs. them thing.


It is what it is, and I think any outcome is a lose lose for every one. My understanding is there is a concern that under Haze324 if I were to post a review or a negate comment about a product that I'm indirectly promoting what I sell. I've shared with the team the same thing I shared with you guys here - I am 100% committed to my shop right now. We have bikes getting sent to us from all over the country. So if I am "allowed" back here are my posts going to be under a microscope? If I post that I am hosting a work shop at a brother shop in Tennessee is that going to be seen as advertising? Crazy part is I could've posted that same thing all day had I NEVER been a sponsor, and there would be no issue. Now you guys don't hear about it, and I can't even share what was discussed there.


Just crappy all around. So whatever is decided by them, no argument from me.
