Default Component Speaker Wiring

Hey all,

Just confirming that my DD6.5 and BT30s with crossover wired in parallel from the amp and bridged will look like below. It's mainly just the position of the crossover I need to confirm.

Thanks!

U nailed it!!!! Just double check the specs on the BT30 before u pour the coals to the gains. That might be the limiting factor.

Yeah, I guess I didn't pay close attention to that. I got the DD6.5/BT30 as a set used. Is it even wise to run the BT30s bridged to a JLXD400/4??

I ran the AWs with AT28 tweets wired the same way running the same amp pushing 175 to 180 watts to them and had no problems. I have no experience with the BT30 tweets though

I just bought the BT30 tweeter's also, but mine did not come with any crossover, could you tell me what exactly are you using for the "crossover"?

thanks,
Carlos

Just get the DD TXO crossovers. Only like $10 each.
The DD BT30 are 150w RMS if I remember correctly.

One more question. If I understand correctly after searching the forums, the marked wire on the BT30 goes to the solid or (+) on the crossover?

Thanks again!
