I've posted before. Help me decide please. I'm adding a kenwood x998 hu have the hawg wired install kit. HAT imagine 6.5 in fairing. Also I have an ARC ks125.4.Here's my dilemma. Do I save some money and install the ARC in a saddlebag which I don't really use but I'm not sure i wanna drill the bags and run rca's up to hu. Or I can go with either the pbr300x4 or t400x4ad. Grannicus has told me in the past that the HAT's neeeeed power so hit me with your opinions. Thanks in advance.
The T RF amp is a great amp. Don't even waste a penny on the PBR amp. If you do put an amp in the bag, look close at the options for using a quick disconnect type of plug for Pwr/Gnd and your speaker wires. Not sure on the RCA's but with a good quick connect, you can keep your hole sizes down and a much cleaner install. But my opinion is put a good amp in the fairing and be done with it. I think I've seen you on HD bagger audio and there is HDP4 on there for sale pretty fairly priced. Hope this helps

Yep, I'm with ya then. I know people have done it, but takes some mods to speedo and tach, and the mount rings. Challenge for sure, but a great amp. Lots of other stuff out there that will slide right in without the headaches.

Are you wanting to put in just 1 amp? If so, there are some options: Arc Moto 600.4 (one in classifieds right now), Sound Stream 4.1000D (great budget amp), Diamond Micro

That 600.4 will not last long, and a good trustworthy seller too.
