Default Beyma Pro6wnd's mounting

I purchased these speakers last year and have been trying to figure out how to mount them in my lowers. I purchased a cheap set of speaker pods from a member on the site and have attempted to modify them to fit the speaker. My main issue is the mounting flange around the speaker. The flange is almost a perfect square where the screw holes are and the next thing is the basket is quite large and does not fit in neatly into the pod.

Any suggestions?

Looks like the PRV and there's a few guys that have modified the mount to work in the lowers. Not sure about the depth, but hang in there, someone will have tried this and let ya know what all is involved.

The frame on the Beyma's look like just like the PRV's... everybody that I know that used the PRV's in their lowers had to cut or grind the speaker basket (frame) to round it off it match the round opening in their lower basket. There are some threads on here about doing just that..Bertk just had a thread about the install of the PRV's in his lowers...maybe about a month ago maybe he'll chime in...or you can search for his thread!

No way around it Cfave. If you want to run those speakers in the lowers. You're gonna have to grind the corners off, make em round and drill new holes.
