I was really curious about some of the other options Tailwind suggested. Was hoping for the answer to marco's question on model numbers. I thought about the DD's you suggested moto and they are on my list.
i don't mind trying something new but know if I would do so well at giving a review of it. The rockvilles peaked my interest until I seen the 9 pound each for the magnets.

Yeah I got the 9 pound ones. Good bass but not really worth adding to sled. I actually ran them off a pn1.1000d at 2 ohms. This setup hit for like two days till I smoked them. I am now trying out the vo 6x9's. I like that they take up less space than the Rockvilles and Pioneer Pros

Hey Delgado I was wondering about the VO 6x9s myself. I have rear pod speakers but wondered if adding the VOs would leave the back end wanting more mids and highs or if the AD 6.5s in the pods would fill in that gap OK.
I would be interested in hearing how you fare with the VOs.
I will let you know later today. I'm thinking they will be perfect for the rear. I'm running Mmats and B3's up so I've got a solid front stage. I actually like not having tweets in rear. I have the perfect blend of midrange and with tweets being more directional the sound seems to hit you perfectly if that makes sense.

Just wired up vo 6x9's in lids with pn4.1000d powering them. The sound is clearer than the ts6900's...not as harsh but the ts6900's seems to have more low end. I'm wondering if they need more power. I would like to mount them in lower rear facing wheel.
