Well today (after years of procrastination) I finally removed my stock stereo head and fairing speakers as they need to be upgraded. I am not a mechanic , I just am broke and cant pay a professional. Can you guys tell me the latest replacement plug and play head unit, speakers , and amp that will give me much better sound and Bluetooth. It will need to operate with stock thumb controls. Also should I consider lid speakers ? Will the juice be worth the squeeze in your opinion. Also any recommendation on a headlight bulb upgrade would be swell. Much thanks in advance!

Any aftermarket plug and play unit is going to be more expensive than you can stand. Your best bet is to go with an aftermarket HU like the Sony MEX-M71BT and the Metra hand controls.
Best budget set up is gonna be the SS PN4.1000D amp.
Infinity Kappa 62.IIi speakers in the fairing. 6x9's in the lids can get expensive after paint. Better off with a set of 8's in the bags. Much cheaper. We don't do headlight bulb upgrades. LOL!!
