I have a 16 Ultra Limited. Can you just replace the stock speakers and significantly upgrade your sounds? Not sure I want to spend a ton of money on an amp and speakers. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Can't beat the Cerwin Vega B52 and the kappa speakers for an instant upgrade. Those two speakers in the fairing with that amp will change your entire experience on the road. Budget friendly and sounds damn good!
Awesome This sounds like a nice setup. I understand the amp, speakers and wiring package. I don't know anything about any line levelers. I tried to just search Amazon. Can you please provide a link for a suitable one as well.
I have a friend that has installed a lot of amps in Harleys and I am sure he would help me. I have only installed one in my old Bronco.
Will the all of this mount in the fairing? I also have the CB and sat radio.

I just did my system with kappas. The difference was mind blowing and I only paid $70 for a used set of kappas. Obviously youll need an amp.

Then you need a biketronics breakout harness to retain factory cb and sat reception. Its not cheap but includes 2 line levelers and eliminates trying to figure out the wiring nightmare with an ultra.

Let me edit and correct some of this post. You'll want a breakout harness from Biketronics if you want to retain being able to fade from front to back speakers. Your cb and sat reception will work regardless.
If having that fader work matters to you, you will need both line levelers for front and rear also.
The line levelers and harness are available at www.biketronics.com
