Great news and good inspiration.
Have you or anyone else using the psm hooked up the accessory switches so you can switch eq presets on the fly? (Am I understanding that feature right?)
I have, and it works great. I have a 15 with the 6.5 head unit and of course totally different sound profiles if the bike is running vs. non running. I have one tune for riding, and one tune for parking lot. The feature works great. You will need to keep the yellow wire powered all of the time (this is your default for Tune 1), add in a powered switch that will provide power to the orange wire when energized. This will then switch the PSM to Tune 2. Or you can use a SPDT switch to also separately energize the gray wire for Tune 3. I am not sure how you would activate Tune 4 as both the orange and gray would need to be energized at the same time for that feature.

cant you just power the orange and grey wires with separate switches giving you all 4 presets depending on switch positions?

I can't see why not. I just wanted one switch, that I mounted where the cigarette lighter was. For Preset 4 both the Orange and Gray need to be energized at the same time.

Can the yellow be on a switched 12V to have it load Preset 1 at power up?
ok, miost folks know what an eq device is and does,,,i would that with the eq section, start your tuning by way of subtraction rather than addition, till you get some understanding under your belt there.
set amps to full range response and use the crossovers in the dsp. check the specs on your installed speakers and start with setting up the crossovers a little inside the spec for the speakers so that you don't do any intial damage on power up, then you can fine tune it in after some more experience,,,,keeping in mind that distortion is the speaker killer and you want to try to keep tabs on excursion also.
learn the input mixing strategy that you like and apply.
get a basic idea on how the output levels work and start low, monitoring amp ac power output so that you know how much you are feeding your speaks and keep them intact.
work this in conjunction with your input levels, in order to get the cleannest signal for reproduction, then the best output from your amps.
once all of this is working in your head ok, actually sit on your bike and play your tunes,,,,use the mixing and output level blending so that your hear everything the way you like. then go ride the bike and see what goes away, what doesn't, underwhat conditions while riding, then come back to home base and tweak it, rinse repeat.

What type of filters are you using? Butterworth for HP/LP and L-R for others?

Yellow has to have constant power at all times. This will automatically default it to preset 1, until you energize the orange or gray wires.
I have mine set up as with my auxiliary switch off, it defaults to preset 1. When I energize my switch, it powers the orange wire, and the PSM switches to preset 2

and I did have to make a filler piece. I just dug around through my miscellaneous screws, nuts, bolts, washers box and found a piece of circular plastic with some height to it that worked out. I used the power and ground from the original 12V power outlet that was there previously, and then connected the output to the orange wire. I am only running 2 separate presets right now. I also wired it so that when the switch is activated it illuminates blue at the same time. This way is it very easy to tell what preset you are on.
