I have an 08 Ultra Classic Anniversary (the duracell). I just put an aquatic AQ-MP-5BT-H head in it and I want to put an amp on it. The speakers are kenwoods and Im not sure what the specs are on them but they sound great.
I'm thinking a class D (?) 4 channel but I think Ive learned just enough with my research to make an entirely wrong decision. Im not looking to spend a boatload of cash either. Any ideas out there?
Thanks a bunch!
You should ask the audio section because that crowd is pretty smart.
I have a biketronics 2180 (2 channel 180 watts rms). Pricey, but made in USA and customer service is excellent. I'd buy it again.
I started the same thread a couple months ago and was also directed to the audio section. Guess I was a bit overwhelmed with the complexity of the various suggestions so settled on a Hogtunes amp/speaker combo. Finally got it in and unless something is not set correctly I am much less than impressed. Mine is a 2 channel (100X2) and sure do hope there is some improvement that can enhance the sound quality and volume at highway speed or I will be looking at something else. Guess I need to get back to the audio section myself. Best of luck.
I'm gonna give the Sound Stream pn 1000 a shot. The price wasn't bad and it got pretty good reviews every where I looked. Should have it in this weekend and will post my thoughts on it. The aquatic head I have sounds great but its the highway sound I'm looking to improve on...not as crisp as I would like.
