I just finished installing a set of Herrz Legend 1800.3s in my Street Glide fairing. It was a challenge to get them in there and I knew it would take a little work to do it before I bought them. I ended up taking off a little at the top off of each speaker and had to put 3 new holes in each speaker bracket. I finished it off with 3 layers of polyfill and man it sounds good! I'll admit it was a little harder cutting this speaker frame than a PRV due to the cost and some will say that I shouldn't have done it, but this is the best fairing set up I've ever heard.

Great work brother!!!! What high freq devices are you going to compliment them with in the fairing?

Thanks! I have both sets of Focal tweets up there now. I have some Steg 32Cs that'll be here tomorrow. I've heard they are good, just not sure how good or if they'll hold up to my abuse and the weather.
Thanks! I just got the Hogtunes lids painted and on there about 10 days ago. I just got the Hertz MPX 690.3s in today and they sound great! Those 8.8s are nice speakers, just not going to put them in saddle bag lids too. I have them in my tour pak now and it feels like they could blow the lid off!
