Default Boom audio interference.

Hello all...

was looking for some direction on an issue that is driving me NUTS... I have a 2015 Street Glide Special , has boom audio stage 2 system (fairing speakers only). I am having a puzzling issue. My radio sounds amazing,UNTIL, I get to riding and then I have intermittent cutout of sound at rpms of 2000 and higher. If I am cruising at 45mph and pullnin clutch and do a small rev, it effects sound. What could this be? I have uninstalled my LED headlamp and that isn’t it at all... could it be the charging system in the bike? The amp? Or maybe the regulator? Just seeing if anyone has had this issue before. It doesn’t happen all the time, and that’s what makes it so frustrating. I have taken the fairing off and checked all connections and even re-routed wires to see if I was getting interference that way. Just weird that it’s directly tied to my engine rpm’s....any help is greatly appreciated. I have also just updated and flashed the software for the boom to see if that helps anything. It didn’t. Thanks guys.

Sounds like a short or loose ground. I would not relate this to the Boom! logic. You might put a VOM on the power source to the AMP and see what is happening at that RPM.
