Some may like that sound but I would never put a 2 speaker only setup involving 2 PA Speaks / 2 Horns on my sled unless I had the ability to tune the hell out of it. And the Boom HU does not have that capability. Buy a DSP and u might have a shot at getting these types of setups in your wheelhouse. Or pick some different Speaks.
DB EPC6 have been a solid budget play.

Regarding the amp, are u ever ever ever going to expand your audio system via additional speaker locations?

I'm also not a fan of PA speakers and would buy the Euphoria speakers T suggested. I've ran a few different speakers up front and those have been the best bang for the buck I had in there so far. They have the highs and the lows that the PA speakers are lacking and play loud enough to hear them at speed. They are also budget friendly and about the same price as the PRVs are (about $200). You can get a good deal on the JL Audio M600/6 buying refurbished for $350 or a new one is on eBay now for $475 now obo. The JL XD technology that those amps have are the easiest on the battery/charging system I've used so far. I can tune in the garage for up to 2 hours so far and the battery hasn't shut down the electrical system on me yet which would happen in about 40 minutes with Focal amps running off a trickle charger. It will require the J&M tray that you can pick up for $120 (or you can chop yours up for free) and a line leveler will cost $80. Purchase an installation kit with some good 8 ga wire that's OFC and not the $20 kit on Amazon that's the CCA stuff. The amp might be overkill at first but leaves room for improvement later if you add speakers or choose the AWs that are power hungry. You could bridge to those and run tweeters separate on channels 5 and 6. Just my opinion.
