Ok guys, what is the best water proof material I can put on the inside of my grills? Something that wont hamper any sound from the speakers yet wont let water get to the speakers. I have a set of lid condoms but they really muffle the sound and on a long trip with chances of rain off and on, well they are just a PIA to mess with. BTW I know I misspelled material in the title but I cant change that now.

I saw that but wondered if that would impede the sound in any way. The pic looks thick. I would like to find the material they use to make air filter socks. Very thin and water repellent.

Frog skin is a speaker cloth with water repellent already on, or as said above, any decent grade speaker cloth with Kiwi camp dry or NeverWet water repellent for cloth.

Parts Express has a Meletone grill cloth that's pretty solid. Treat the cloth and put it over the speaker face and secure the speaker in position while pulling the cloth tight.
If u start spraying Super 77 or similar adhesives on ur grills ur certain to muffle the sound.
Thanks T. I was also leery of spraying the grills with any adhesive. ill figure it out or just get rid of these cheap non water repellant speakers and get some good ones.
FrogzSkin is the best IMO. It's not speaker cloth, its breather vent filter for snowmobiles. Its very tightly woven and does not stretch much if at all.

Aren't you running the Hertz MPX? What can you upgrade to from those for 6x9
