Do you have any pictures of your installation? And this is the same amp as the Soundstream PN4.1000D, right?

Basically the same amp. Sorry bad timing on the pictures, I just took it apart last night to put in a new head unit. Many folks have done this, maybe one of them can share a pic. With most amps you put in you will need to move some wires around. Sorry I couldn’t help more.

i was under the assumption that the PA rz3000 was the sister amp to the SS PN4 1000

You are correct. The rz2000 is the same as the SS pn4.520.

i'm with Yooperhog, cerwin vega b52, will do the trick at your price range, and only a 2 speaker setup.

I want the option to add lower speakers, so a 4 channel amp is paramount.

Don't go with the Cerwin Vega B54 then.

Most folks go with 4ohm speakers to build their systems. The B54 only puts out 80 watts at 4ohms. Severely anemic for 4ohm applications.
