Per Tailwind's suggestion, I installed the EPC6K components in fairing only with a BT2180 and saw a HUGE improvement over the BT 6.5 Titans I had before. Granted this install is for riding on an Island with way less than Interstate speeds but I love it.
Thanks Tailwind. I'll run this past my guy when I stop to see him.
Pls get some specifics on the JL 6x9 and Morel speaks as ur local boy may have broken the code re sled stuff. The stuff I mentioned earlier just has solid budget presence on a sled that u just won't get with almost 3 times the cash spent for the Morel and JLs.
Now if u got cash burning a hole in the pocket, there are tons of better options with a bit more sound quality but are u really gonna find value in that cash outlay? Only ur ears can answer that.
Just my two cents here but I would ditch the BT355s and get a Rockfrd DSR1. I have that on my 2015 ultra limited non flashed 6.5 infotainment radio and it sounds amazing. Your installer just needs to adjust a few frequencies to take out some of the gain the Harley tune uses in 100hz and 10hz. Theres a great article on it it here. https://www.americanhardbag.com/page...u-need-to-know everthing is subjective of course but if you have not had the system done this is worth getting in my opinion no matter what products you use.

Thanks for that. I've decided on AW6.5s, B3 horns, MM652s for the rear pods, a Sound Stream amp that the installer's getting for me, and an Alpine PowerPack for the horns. Tailwind was really good about helping me decide on a few things. I told my installer that we need power for the AW6.5s, so he's getting the amp.
Putting the horns in the fairing, just outside the speakers. Don't know where else to put them except for small gauges, and I really don't wanna lose the gas gauge. Saw a YouTube video of a guy putting them into a 2015 StreetGlide fairing, and needed to make sure Rushmore Limited Ultra & StreetGlide fairings are the same. Confirmed. They are.
That SS amp is just not gonna cut it pushing the AW's. They need way more power than it will provide. Either the Focal Sport or the new 4250 from Biketronics will provide enough juice.
