Sound cuts out When I use throttle
2015 Ultra limited. Sound cuts out as soon as I touch the throttle. Throttle works fine to ride. Doesn't cut out with just the ignition switch on.
Upgraded sound system.
Put on new bars a couple weeks ago.
Also put on Ciro fangs over the weekend.
All was good until yesterday.
HELP?!!?

That's an easy fix...... don't use the throttle. Seriously though, If I had to venture a guess, I'd say a loose connection at the amp. It could be any of the connections for main power, ground, remote turn on or speaker input to the amp. I'd pull the fairing, and start the bike and check for power loss with throttle use first.

Update....after hours of frustration...
Pulled fairing and checked all amp/rca/speaker wires.
Checked ground and redid wires on fuse pod for power wire to amp.
Intercom off.
CB off
Reset HU to factory settings.
Pulled fairing to recheck plugs coming out of new bars.
As far as i KNOW ALL HANDLEBAR CONTROLS WORK AS THEY SHOULD.
I NEED HELP HERE FOLKS.........................

Aight gimme the specifics of your upgraded audio. Did this start as soon as the bars were installed and did the dealer install the bars?
