Arc 600.4 Amp
Sony MEX-M70BT HU
AD Designs CX62
MMatts 601.2
I've reset the HU a few times already and tried every signal source USB, Tuner, CD, Bluetooth, Etc The problem first started with static or like my right side speaker channel was going in and out thought maybe they were blown Then it started on my left side channel and now whenever I wanna play the system whether I'm parked or riding it comes on plays for a short bit then goes out comes on then goes out and continues to do that? What could be causing this? The Amp? The HU? The Battery? Thanks for any help or suggestions with this as its driving me insane not having my tunes while riding.............................On a side note the system had been fine prior to this for months/year
Lots of folks have been experiencing issues with the input plug on the amp.
What he said. I also commented on your FB post. I had issues with the RCA connections and ended up putting small piece of shim shock in each RCA connection to tighten it up.
UPDATE: Well before I decided to take the fairing off I got the bike up on the lift and I tested fader and balance moving the handlebars to the left and right and the upper fairing speakers are definitely going in and out when moving the bars left and right but the lower speakers seem to continue playing just fine which is weird because when the bike is on the ground or on the road they all seem to be acting up? So obviously there is definitely something in the wiring inside the fairing? Pulling the fairing now!

Ditto. I was having a similar issue where it would cut out when I hit a bump etc, then would come back on a minute later. I ended up running a large zip tie around the amp and input plug. So far, so good. Also invest in good quality RCA cables that have a tight fit, that can cause similar issues as well. I had that problem earlier as well. Good quality RCA cables and put some heat shrink over the RCA connections when done as an extra precaution.
