Good question I was under the impression that you lose fade control with all of the “flat” flashes.

Just to be clear for my cave man brain:

The specific 1 amp or 2 amp flash cannot be done by an HD Dealer?

The flash that you will want 2/6 1/4 2/8 will depend on ur specific amp and speaker combo by brand / specs?

Which of these flashes simply provides for the flattest bass/EQ curve possible?

Thx
T

The dealer can still do 0 amp 4 speaker (stock Ultra Flash) and will get you fade control. It's not a flat eq flash.

The way I understand it, the 2 amp 8/ 6 speaker is the flat eq flash you'd want, but not available at the dealer unless they are doing a Boom 2 install and an amp is installed. Their program won't allow it now, but it used to.

The aftermarket world can still flash whatever you want. Haze and Gypsy's company can do those flashes to this day.

Edit: so can the other guy,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, lol

BTW wife is happy with HCX 165s/TM400X4AD combo you suggested so maybe you are on the right track.
I'm glad she likes it. Now she needs a set of 6x9's in the lids.

You

Just pull the amp and leave it flashed. It should be a better signal then the 0 amp flash.

I don't know what he meant, he made it sound like it was easy to remove the amp from the HD head unit. At this point I just felt he was talking above my head and didn't press the point, he had been kind enough to answer a lot of my stupid questions already.

Brad and Grimmele are both good dudes, both have helped me a lot when I was at the beginning trying to figure out the PSM.
