I want to start off by saying thanks to everyone here, I've been lurking around for a few weeks looking for info for a simple speaker swap.
Well simple turned to this.
Aquatic AQ MP-5UBT-HS
Rockford TM400X4AD
Hertz Mille MPX165.3
Rockford RFKHD
Hogwired mesh speaker grills
I got the HU from Crutchfield and it came missing mounting hardware on the right side of the mounting bracket. They wanted to swap out the HU, but they are out of stock until Sept. I asked if they had the lower priced unit in stock and could they just send the bracket from that and I would do the switch and they were able to make it right.
I'm very happy with how this came together and now thinking about maybe adding rears.
Glad you like the setup. You might want to look/listen to a setup with lowers also if considering adding more speakers. I don't have lowers but considering them in my near future. I do have lids and they will defiantly add to the audio mix creating an audio "bubble" while riding but can get lost at 70+ if not the right setup. If you go with lids, I really like the rf tms69bl lid kit as it come with all wiring, speakers is a solid setup that doesn't need any paint work done to make it work.

Just some food for thought.
Thanks for heads up on adding more speakers. Not sure which route I'm leaning towards lowers or lids, but it with have to wait for a off season project.
If i were a betting man... you'll have BOTH lids and lowers by Spring. Lol
Its a disease...
For me, adding lowers made such an improvement while moving. If you find your setup isnt loud enough while riding at higher speeds, liok at the lowers first.
Soon as I finish installing and finishing a new set up, I take a deep breath, look around and tell myself what the hell am I suppose to do now. Lol.. so i research, buy more audio stuff and change things up again.

Lol. I have to lay low for a little while, because the wife has become increasingly aware of my spending and now wondering why I've been taking my laptop down the the garage.
Taken from phone
My apologies for reviving an old thread, but I finally got around to ordering Hogtunes lids and Hertz Mille 6x9s.
They sound awesome! This video was taken from my phone in my garage because it was raining.
Thanks again for all the info that you guys share.
