Pound for pound, imho the PRV are much louder but the SV are superior regarding sound quality, detail, and clarity. Just depends on what unicorn ur chasing and how it all ties into each individual sled and riding style.
Regardless, as a rider at some point the dB level becomes less relevant and overall presence at the various sound-stages becomes the focus. 123 from the fairing is probably more than suitable to rip ur ears off after several minutes of riding.

For those interested, I posted a vid in the sticky section up top. That is the bike that registered 123 on my buddies meter. Again, not a calibrated sound test. but 123DB and clean and good lows.
