Default ‘15 Shark Audio Input

Alright, so until this summer I’ve never messed with bike audio, just kinda dealt with stock. Until my lovely bride gave me a RF kit for our anniversary this year (awesome wife, I know ). Installed the kit with a buddy (Harley tech) and adjusted it a little, and man was it loud and VERY bright. A little too bright at times, so I pulled the fairing back off and turned the gain down a bit. Better, but just not there, so I added a handful of polyfill to the pods, and noticed the large amount of air coming out of the pods. So I sealed them up and adjusted a little more. It sounds much better to me now, especially sitting in the garage not running, but I feel like I need more mid bass to give some backbone to the music. I know it won’t be a perfect sound stage like a car, and don’t expect deep in your chest bass, but a lot of music feels a little out of balance.

Question is, what way do I go? 5x7 CVO speaker lids in the rear, or add another set of front speakers in the lowers... The amp is the RF TM400X4AD, so I think I have enough power to add a set of speakers. Or should I simply look into replacement speakers that are less harsh and can produce a more balanced sound? Now, I want to be clear that I ride this bike daily in everything but snow, commuting about 75 miles a day so anything has to survive the elements. Need some advise from guys that have been here.
