Hello everyone,
Im brand new to HD. On last Monday I walked into a local dealership on a morning whim- by the end of the day, I was the owner of a brand spankin new 19 Road Glide Special. The next morning, I jumped on a plane to go back to work. I had the bike delivered to my house last Friday. I wont be back home to ride it for about 3 weeks - in the mean time, Im researching and ordering parts!
Ive ordered a slew of audio products and Id like to avoid using a LL/Flattener to over come the DSP of the BoomGTS. After searching the forum and reading a myriad of threads, I have not found any definitive answer as to whether or not the GTS can be flashed for/to 4 speakers/no amps?
I called a few shops in the area (from Rockford Fosgate list of dealers). 1 stated they hadnt done anything later than a 17 and that theyre Digitech probably wouldnt connect based on the current SW
One other shop stated that he hadnt done an 2019 models - but- he was confident he could do it because his software updates whenever he connects to the internet.
Has anyone reading this had a 19 flashed? If so, how well did it work out?
TIA
