I`m looking at changing out a set of vo 6x9`s in bags to a set of 8 inch speakers. I`m also running a set of vo 6x9`s in lids. Looking at a set of Pioneer Ts-m800 pro and Prv 8mb500v2-ndy. I would like to know which would be my best option. Far as highs and midrange I`m running mmats fairing and lowers,b3 horns , prv 6mb250`s are going in tourpack and vo`s in lids. I`m looking for a little more low end. Not sure which amp to push 8`s with. I have a pn4.1000d and CV b54 laying around.Thinking about bridging rear channels of b54 and wiring prv 8`s in parallel and use the front channels for Prv 6mb250`s or running pn4.1000d to pioneers unbridged with other channels running prv 6mb250`s.
I'm thinking about adding 8" speakers in the bags as well, I would go a different route than the two you listed. Anyone have any experience with the Ground Zero GZCK 200SPL in the bags? I would think the PRV 8MB450-4 would be a better choice, but it also depends on how much you want to spend.
For bass inside the bags use the 8MB600FT's. Don't bother going by the specs, it's the 8 I use inside the bags for bass and they play the lowest of any PRV 8 in their line up. The GZ's are nice as well and play a tad lower but not as loud.

The PRV 8MB600FT's being 8ohms, how much power do they need? I'm assuming 150W isn't going to be enough. Would say a Ground Zero Micro Bridged be a good option for those speakers? Thanks.

I hate to drop $200 on these 8`s right now but if they do the job I guess I might. Will a b54 bridged pushed them or use the soundstream bridged? Do I need mounting rings?
