Although they look good on paper, they have a huge history of being unreliable defaulting within 6 mo or so. Do a search on them on this forum and you will discover their reliability or lack of. You would be better served if you get a Kenwood or a Sony with a scosche or metra interface for the thumb controls. I also suggest getting a white background readout unit as it will be seen better in a bright sunlight.
there are much better choices out there. they look good on paper, but in reality it's hit or miss. better can be had for the same or less money.

Ive had mine for a couple of years with zero problems. I have the cheap(er) one. The good - No worries about it getting wet during a rain storm or washing, bulletproof that way. The Bad - No fine tuning. treble, bass and thats it. 2V out. Had to use a Y splitter for multiple amps. Doesn't make it look nice and neat under the hood. That stuff drives me nuts even if I can't see it, I know its there. My meds can't even overcome it.
For me, living in Florida with the crazy pop up storms, its real nice not having to worry about it getting wet or putting a splash shield on it. It could be sunny out and within 5 min you would think the world is coming to a end. Thats part of living this close to the gulf.
I feel fortunate not to have had any problems with mine. If mine ***** the bed, I will go with a sony or Kenwood like Gypsy suggested.
Gypsy, happy holidays!
