Brother, ur gonna do just fine on ur build, u have an excellent bullshix detector!!!

Think about 8" lids or lowers. Commit to one or the other then fill the other holes with a complimenting speaker. If ur a ground pounder that rides all weather the JL880 is an awesome 8" speaker.
