Default help with installation of J & M Rokker speaker/amp install

I'm in the process of installing a new J & M amp and 4 speakers and I have problems and was hoping someone here could help. I changed out the fairing speakers and they work and sound great so I, then, installed and hooked up the amp and that's when the trouble started. I wired the amp to all four speakers (although at this time I don't have speakers in the bags and that's another story) but I proceeded to wire everything up, take off tank and run power & speaker wires to the back and hook all up per their directions (and a video from "law abiding biker"). now after everything was installed and connected I tried it out and got zero sound (now remember no bag speakers installed yet) but I didn't see where that should make a difference. I should still have sound to the front speakers but didn't. so I de-wired all and wired it to go directly from the infotainment unit to the speakers and it works fine. I wanted to check that the amp was getting power but my multi-meter was dead. I'll try later after I get a new battery. if anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

Default Speaker problems

Reset the amp it's in safe mode make double sure the wiring is right positive to positive and negative to negative and with that said wire up one speaker at a time with the system off so wires dont touch it its wired up wrong or reverse plarity it will put the amp in safe mode

I would make sure that you have power at the remote(trigger) wire. It's typically the blue wire and requires 12v when the ignition is On or in accessory mode.

are there any indicator lamps or leds on the amp to let you know that it's getting power and remote signal?

I'd be in the phone with J&M customer service if they have such a thing.
