I have 17 tri glide ultra that is liquid cool and i m looking to add additional speakers to lowers. Can i relocate liquid cool reservoir where it will not leak or do i just need to but the adapter kit so the speakers can fit? Any help will be greatly appreciated tks
I am not sure what the best way to go is, not having a water cooled lowers but I think relocating the bottle will look better (won't need as big a spacer) but is also harder to do! I'll bump you back up and see if somebody that has done it will chime in! Thanks for you service Vetstorm!
It has been done, albeit quite a bit of work. I believe there was a thread a long while back by Cpbedor. Search google for cooling relocation.hdforums see if it's around.
It involved moving the bottle to behind the right side cover and steel braided line. It also required the Ultra pods and fab work to the inside of the lower fairing, if I remember correctly.

I am in the process of doing a lower fairing speaker mount on my 14 limited wet head. It has been somewhat of a challenge up to the point I am at now. The recovery bottle relocate is going to be the tricky part. Right now my project is stalled as I have other house hold projects that need my attention.
There are adapters available for the wetheads that keep you from having to move the coolant bottle.
