he is looking to install the RF 400 with the stock radio.
stock radio is going to iron cross for bluetooth upgrade.
asking for a friend.
thx
For what it's worth, I have a 2012 Street Glide and used the adaptors below (purchased off Amazon) to install the same HXC 165's in my fairing and by the description they should fit your bike. I also ordered the speaker grills below and everything fit perfectly. If they don't fit just send back to Amazon. Good luck!

Yes, but if you read the description for the adapters I linked it says they should work for "1998-2013 Touring Models". It appears that those adapters your friend already has will work as well.

looking too go from stock road glide speakers to 6.5. I gather its the shape of the RG speaker grills that throwing me off. so does the SG and RG use the same adapters
The OP was looking for 5.25" to 6.5". It looks like the ones in your link say 6.25" - 6.5".
Yeah, the description is a little ambiguous but that means they will fit a 6.25- 6.5" speaker. They fit perfectly when going from my stock 5.25" HD speakers and upgrading to the Hertz 6.5".
