I have a 2012 ultra and I have a SSp4.1000 amp and WDX6moto's in the fairing. I am looking to add lowers the motos are bright but I have a eq in the head unit that makes them sound good. What would be a good combo. TIA!
Jack I guess folks would ask what you are looking to spend. I ran that same amp and speakers with the Mmats PA 601.4 marine treated speakers in the lowers and it was a great budget combo.
I did have some AD Designs CX621s in the lowers and they sounded pretty good but they were a little top heavy so to speak. I'm glad I changed to the Mmats (still have the ADs in the rear pods and like them there). I already get enough highs from the Motos in the fairing.
I guess along those lines some may ask are you OK with the highs you are getting now? If you are then some type of PA speaker would give you a little more bottom end. If you want more highs then maybe a coaxial.

Yes I am happy with the highs so more bass would be nice.
