I know this topic has been beat to death, as I read through two years worth of posts. It seems like opinions change as time goes on. I am looking to switch to a new project, and replace my two mini 2 channel amps for a single 4 Channel amp. Spec wise, I'd like to be able to run my lids and future lowers at 200 per speaker. 2ohm bridging off the SD evos do this, but it would leave me hanging on my two fronts. The size is also a factor, as I hope to pull the pods, put it some BT brackets and free up some room.
What other amp will allow, within the confines of the stock bracket or the Badd Azz Bikes bracket, will allow this kind of power? I'm not poor, but I'd prefer not to spend $800 on amp.

Slow ur roll brother. Run what u have for a while, listen to a bunch of different setups and make very calculated moves that will ultimately get u to ur intended finish line, after u determine what that finish line is.
Let me throw this out there first and foremost, you do not want to parallel 6x9's and 6.5's together on the same channel. It limits you to tuning the 6x9's to only what the 6.5's can handle.
All respect T, I know you're the man with all the hard core knowledge. In no rush, just trying to keep my brain busy. I like thinking through off the wall ideas to see what works. I wonder if I could find a 5 channel amp, that way I can parallel the 6x9s and the 6.5s separately, then use the sub channel to push lowers. Again....no rush, just thinking via the forum.
First things first, I need to figure out why Android auto keeps erroring out and the Sony won't let me connect media to Bluetooth.

If you can't tell, my job is boring.
So in 6 months what speakers are u wanting to have and in what locations?
I really like the DD in the lids. I'd like some PRV or Hertz SPL or maybe even DD VO 6.5s in the lowers. I change my mind on front 6.5s daily. I think I'll see much more volume at speed from adding the lowers, and thinking ahead, they are going to need a lot of power, and my amps are tapped out.

Good deal brother. As u slowly start to nail down what u will want, then start thinking about pairing that strategy with the correct amps & amp watts. And no need to become a Forum sheep, as there is tons of stuff being done & various product out there do think outside the box brother. That should keep u plenty busy for a while.
