Bdrummer tell me how cause I've tried everything and cant get it to work unless I'm plugged in
Iam at work now..but when i get home I will take a video of how I did it and post it later tonight...also iam using a samsung s8 on sprint service...what are you using..not sure if that would make a difference...just wondering..

A couple of things after the app notifiations popped up for me where these screens...see how how it gave me a prompt to check Bens sony harley..let me know if this works..
Here is the 2nd way to work it if that didnt work.. From the Android Auto app..click on the settings buttons then 2...you will see the toggle button for the bluetooth setting...

Ok got it all set up that way cant check it right now. It even says in the manual on the sony that it wont work unless your plugged into usb 1
yep.. i remember reading that too.. but once I unplugged it from usb port... the android auto bluetooth function will takeover as long as you have bluetooth selected on 5000 ... and Iam only "guessing" here but iam assuming after a software update here or there, android got smart and fixed that bluetooth glitch but you should be as good as gold this evening bud when you get it hooked up.. happy listening.. let me know how it turns out.. any issues.
