If u have a 1/2" difference in where the left vs right brackets sit then there really is no other explanation.

So I took the clutch side off, left all the bolts loose, and I could not find a position that worked. It's almost like the fold angle isn't quite the same, but I'm sure the same machine is progammed to do the same work. I ended up taking the aluminum piece off and I'll mill it a 1/4" or so. That's the only thing I can think of to keep the security and the hole angle.

Personally I wouldn't go mlling on it until I knew what is going on. It's not easy to put aluminum back on.

Yup!!! Never once have I heard that a BT bracket has not lined up properly. I would not start hacking on it until u have had the extreme patience to truly identify what is going on with that entire fairing.

So I just got off the phone with Biketronics...very nice people. Cindy was able to tell me that the clutch side uses a different aluminum structure piece than the brake side. Mine had accidentally been shipped with two of the same. She is putting a new standard in the mail, along with the bolts I broke. Good service is hard to find, so I am thrilled.
