Anyone ever use one of these? Got it with my order of speakers. Honestly thought the BT 355 was the only one out there?

Yea I tried them and they will work but no adjustments like the bt355. I cant remember now but either they have gain adjustment or filter control only . I ended up just putting in a sony hu and was done with LOC's.

I used this one on my ultra until I got my Sony ...no adjustments

The Axxess piece has no HP filter, only gains, it's much like the PAC SNI 35 with Harley plugs. Without a way to correct the Boom eq this device will probably not work as well as the BT 355.

So basically I should order a BT 355 then.

If you already paid for it try it, but I would say yes you're gonna need the BT355.

I’ve used several of them. I called Metra and they confirmed that it was able to correct the eq curve. It’s a powered loc and does it electronically. Also Sinister Sound has a new one out now too. I asked them about it because I assumed it was just a BT loc with their sticker but they used to sell those and were taking back a ton of defective ones so they had this one manufacturerd for them and it’s been great.

That's somewhat strange, cause I don't recall "a ton of defective ones" being discussed on this forum. What are the defects that are being reported?

TW, I think he's talking about another model not the AXMLOCHD1.
From my personal experience its a rock solid performer.

Does it fix the on/off bin file....how does it sound with the bike running.
