Are you looking to upgrade to a 6x9 or keep the 5x7's? It is a common fact that the cvo boom 5x7's blow all the time. At present time RF tms57 are an alternative for the cheap boom 5x7's. They are a direct fit plug and play replacement that wont blow easily. If you are keeping the boom setup, then that is your only option for replacement.

I was planning on replacing all 6 of my speakers on my CVO Street Glide so I can actually hear a little bass. I was planning to use Infinity Kappas in the fairing and lowers since they are 2 ohm, but have been stuck on the bag speakers. The RF speakers you referenced are 4 ohm. Can I do this since the left bag amp runs the left bag speaker and the left lower fairing speaker and the right controls the right side?

not that I could find, I did however make them work on some Baddad lids, tooks some work though, I had to add a 1/2" spacer under their cones and do some strategic grinding on them as well as the bags, but they work.

That looks like a lot of weight for a bottom mount. Now, I have very little experience with audio, but can barely keep my amps stuck to the back wall of my bags.

I have the same speakers in my bags, pretty typical mount from what I've seen. no problems so far. been about a year on mine.
