What speakers are you considering. I am by no means an audiophile but think the stock speakers sound pretty good. I have a 13 CVO RG but would consider upgrading if it made a big difference
If it is a 2013 CVO RG the fairing speakers are 5x7's as well. I changed mine out to 6.5's. I left the lid speakers 5x7's and went with Focals and 2 ARC amp's. The sound is awesome to say the least!!!!!

Can you list the exact speakers and amps as well as any adapters you had to use for the speaker mounting? Thanks for the help. Also I will ride in rain, are these speakers marine grade?
Here is the web site I got everything from. I got the stage IV kit for the fairing and the Focal 5X7's plus a second ARC amp for the lids. I used 3M strip calk 08578, per the instructions, around everything and I have been through some good rain storms and no leaks as of yet.
