I had a 2007 ultra classic, which I installed 4, 6.5 Kicker speakers in the batwing fairing and lower fairings. I also installed the Rockford Fosgate rear bag lid speaker kits, all powered by a Kicker PXA300.4 amp with a Aquatic head unit. Sounded really good, and loud. Two weeks ago i traded it for a new SGS. Now I got the boom radio and speakers, not very good. Looking at upgrading to the complete Rockford Fosgate front and rear kit for it. But I have been seeing on here a lot about the WDX6MOTO G2 SPEAKERS, Stinger 7004 amps, and BT355 line leverlers. But I would really like a set of rear bag speakers also. I know about getting the boom radio flashed for the Rockford Fosgate system to play right, but I would need to drive about 2-3 hours to get it done. So you guys that seem to know your **** about systems for the newer bikes, please give me your thoughts on which one I should go for and why. I do love my music while riding, and loud. Thanks!
If you want to run fairing and lids and retain your stock head unit, you will need the front AND rear BT355 and you will have to have your radio flashed to unlock the rear and fader options in the radio. This can be done by your dealer. You will want the Ultra/Limited flash 0 amps 4 speakers. With that out of the way give us a budget and we can get you started with some suggestions.

Pretty sure this is incorrect. You need two BT355s and a breakout harness if you want to still have fade control and i'm not sure why anyone would want a fader on a motorcycle.

Well fader could be used to control horns right?!?!?

I could be wrong but I don't think I am. The breakout harness is for the Ultras/Limiteds. The Specials have a rear plug sitting in the fairing that you would use the rear BT355. Plenty of people use the fader if maybe their front stage is over powering their rear stage or something like that. I know I have mine faded a bit to the front because I want more sound coming from in front of me that behind me. If you don't want fade and/or you don't want to have to flash the radio you can use a single front BT355 and Y splitters to get 4 inputs to your amp. Someone can please correct me if I'm wrong here.

Ok so let’s try again now that I see he bought a SG. All you
need is 1 BT355 for the front. One set of rcas to the amp. Run
your speaker wire to the speakers done. Yes if you want fade control you
will need it flashed otherwise no.
Well the Rockford Fosgate system cost around 1300.-1400. So it would be no more than that. The wife wants to hear the music while riding, that would be the reason for rear speakers.
