Anyone using some kind of enclosure to test speakers? Something that would be somewhat close to what a fairing would sound like? Maybe a behind the seat truck box, and if so what approx size? I'd like to try some speakers but don't want to keep taking a fairing a part to do it. Any other ideas?
I believe I still have a set of pods. If so you could have them. They have a bunch of holes in them but I can cover them with sound deadening if ya want them
That could work. I know some speakers sound better in the pods and some out of the pods, so it would be wise to have more than one enclosure, to test them in. I'll be glad to pay for them, just pm info. Thanks I do have an extra 13 down RG Inner I could try, I would just need to pick up a used outer and rig a bracket to hold it. That is one of the larger airspace fairings, and the pod would be about the smallest, so maybe a good pair to test against. I've got a pair of the Euphoria EX6NCD's coming in that I heard some reviews on saying they sound better than the coax Beyma's. They come with a crossover so no DSP needed. I'm curious to see for myself what they sound like.
Anyone have a damaged outer RG fairing for a 2008 model?
