Default 2015 RGS recommendations

2015 rgs purchased with boom amp and stage 1 speakers. I want to remove boom stuff and install 4 channel amp and fairing speakers and keep stock head unit. Looking for suggestions on a amp and fairing speaker combination that will work good together and leave me room to expand to lid speakers possibly down the road.I listen to classic rock most of the time. I think bt355 line leveler is the way to go because i have no experience with tuning.I am not afraid to take bike apart and install myself but need help with complete list of what I am going to need.I was thinking of doing the soundz pkg but was hoping to save a little money by doing it my self with help from here. Budget I will set at 1000.00 max for amp, fairing speakers, line levelers, wiring kit etc. Recommendations on were to buy would be extremely helpful. From the reading i have done it sounds like a stinger amp and mmats speakers in fairing would be a good choice but again i don't know what works together.

Two questions you'll need to answer are whether you want fade control, and what size speakers do you plan on eventually adding to the bags?

Notes:
If you buy the Stinger AMP you'll need to plan on mounting it below the factory radio. You can buy a tray and make it look nice, or zip tie it, or even make a Gorilla tape cradle (I cheap'd out on my 2015 and used the Gorilla tape cradle and rode it like that for over 3 years and 10K miles.) For a professional looking install I'd suggest an AMP tray though.

There are some AMPs that will fit on top of the headlight bezel, just pay attention to the width of the AMP. Anything much over 4.25" wide isn't likely to fit mounted on top of the headlight bezel (will hit the back of the radio wiring harness). You have more leeway on length, up to 9.5" maybe even 10" will work.

Just remember, that on a Rushmore Road Glide you need power and power handling capacity on that front stage in order to get volume at speed. We have a lot of wash out because of the design of the fairing and placement of the fairing speakers.

Fade control is not a priority as long as it sounds good. I would probably do 6X9 in bag lids or possibly advan blacks 8" lids if they get good reviews. The fairing is my main concern and if I am happy with just fairing I could stop there.

Between us Road Glide owners, I wouldn't even consider a system that's not capable of pushing at least 150W to each channel, and preferably 175W or higher. Just my two cents worth. The bat wing guys can get by with less power because of the speaker placement in the bat wing fairing. You can go with one very good large AMP, or consider going with two smaller AMPs (adding the 2nd AMP to the equation once you're ready to do bag lids). You'd also need to consider whether you want the 6.5" speakers in the fairing to just "drop in" or if you're willing to mod the pod a little bit to clear the larger magnets on certain speakers.

What do you suggest for just fairing amp and speakers?
