Good to hear about the mmatts... Somebody did mention the Diamonds but haven't heard in person. That would be my concern on the GZ 7x10s also and not sure if the amp I have is powerful enough
What are the specs on the GZ 7x10 and how many watts do u have available to give?
Do you know if those mmatts just drop into place of the Rockford kit or is there a little modification. I been leaning more toward those than the Hertz.
If memory serves, Gypsye told me that the MMats require some massaging to fit in the Rockford Lid kit. I bought a set of Arc Moto 692'3 from him and had to grind a bit on the speakers, suppose I could have opted to grind the mount but it was easier mentally to grind on the used speakers. The GZ's come with a 6x9 adapter, so I may have to grind on it, but that's easier for me to accept than taking a dremel to a brand new speaker...
The ground zeros do come with adapters and with a little bit of intelligence and skill they will bolt in no problems. We like to put about 250 watts to them to make them come alive.

How about opening/closing with HogTunes speaker lids? How much space will I lose in the bags?
I picked up a pair of Hertz HCX 6x9s off a neighborhood guy for $150. He had them on for less than a month before he had to sell his bike. I'm good with those.
