I thought of that but I don't think a reboot will change or affect the base stock/bin file configuration. I remember reading somewhere that the boom fade control is different if boom amps were in line.

Any hu flash for boom amps will show fade but it doesn’t change the sound. From what I read the fade function is controlled by the boom amp. Since it’s not there it doesn’t work. 4 speaker 0 amps, then enable amps 1&2 is a good flash that has fade. I believe that is the jm flash and Rockford is probably the same even tho it has their name on it.
