I haven't read here for a while so,... if you can direct me to the page. I have decided to change my system, and I'm adding speakers and lowers. 15 St Glide Sp. Looking for a really good 4 ch. amp. Something that fits in fairing, would like to have a mounting bracket with it. Not brand loyal, so I'm open to recommendations. Going to run "mid bass" pa speakers in the lowers, AA 602 in fairing. Was looking @ Rockford Fosgate, Soundigital, Soundz, BT. Your thoughts ?
Probably the most recommend right now is the Stinger 700/4 but also look at the MMats 4110. Both of these will Velcro right on top of the stock tray so no mounting bracket required.

That Singer is gonna be a lil light in the loafers for those AA 602s. Them biatches need more juice. Unless u switch to a much more efficient speaker I would tap the brakes and try and get at least 150 watts to those AAs.
I like my Soundigtal amp. To get 150+ watts, you would need 1200.4 on a 4 channel. I also have two NVX VAD2Ms that fit in the clutch side cubby. They have rms of 160 watts each. Two of those will do it, and no real mounting is required. Im by no means an expert, but maybe this is an idea.

The 800.4 lists its 12v rms at 110. It's probably around 140 at 14v. Yes, very close to the 150 mark. If its anything like my 600.1, that rms is at the very bottom end of the gain ****.
my comment was in reference to GSN's recommendation of an SD 1200.4 being needed.
Yes sir. My only point is that recommending the SD 800.4 is a very broad brush as there are several options.
Lots of folks have jumped into the SD world not understanding the variations or associated wiring strategies thus was just wondering what specific 800.4 would be good for the OP and what wiring strategy he would have to commit to.
