I recently installed a Dayton DSP in my old 1988 Ultra. It really helped improve the sound of the system. I want to make sure I have things set correct before I continue to tinker with the DSP settings.
Do all the settings on the HU EQ need to be set flat and all the crossover frequencies set to through?
Does the amp needs to be set at full pass?
Now, do I adjust the DSP settings then the gains on the amp or the other way around?
Yes and yes. As far as the gains I adjusted them with the DSR flat. After I tweaked the EQ I was able to turn them up a bit. Mostly because some of the freq's were not as harsh.
